First of all, just because a group/team is in a Unity Family it does not mean anything, good or special. For any client who is looking for someone to help please, please look at a team’s evidence before you even ask them to come into your home. If a team has blurry pictures, pictures of dust (orbs), pictures of lights that are squiggly, pictures they call “mists” which can either be smoke, fog or breath please look for a different team. We think it is time to expose people who prey on those who feel they are being haunted, or those who want to become ghost hunters. We have created this site to inform others of what they need to be aware of. It is time for people in the paranormal community to take a stand and expose these Charlatans for their fraudulent claims. Their fraudulent claims, and their nonsense takes the integrity away from the paranormal community.
Why do people feel the need to classify themselves as specialist or being certified in anything when it comes to the field of ghost hunting? There are no accredited courses in being a certified ghost hunter, or being certified as evp specialist, and so on. Don't be fooled in their claims, it is nonsense. These people who offer these non accredited courses are only out to take your money. Sadly to say many people fall for this, and then claim they are certified or they are specialist on their websites, and to their clients.
One of the people who offer these courses has some of the worse examples of her claims of the paranormal I have seen. From a camera strap in the flash which she calls, a double vortex, to anomaly with tentacles, which is hair, and the list goes on. One of the pictures I looked at had even been run through a photo program which tells me it could have been tampered with. So please if you want to become a ghost hunter, ask questions of people who have been doing this for sometime, research the Internet, learn some photography and by all means use some common sense. Please do not let these people who offer courses take your money.
Certified Ghost Hunters, there is NO legitimate certificate! Plain and simple!

If one claims to be psychic, then I would think one would want to prove that fact, or so they say it is a fact, by taking James Randi's challenge you could prove to the world you are a true psychic. If you were a true psychic wouldn’t you want to make 1 million dollars? Hell I would, if I was telling the honest truth, you can bet I would be the first in line to take the million dollars home with me. For all these years charlatans have come to try to cash in, but they have failed. The tricks of their trade have been exposed. Sure we will hear all kinds of reasons why they will not take the challenge, and most will say it is rigged, sure, tell us another excuse. Please check out James Randi’s, Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge. Until it is proven you are a true psychic, I do not want to hear a word from you.
Teams that charge you for an investigation should be avoided, IMO. There is absolutely no reason you should pay for an investigation. There are many good teams out there, any team that charges is truly laughable. I will not mention any names, but will post their sites for educational purposes. Many teams will take donations which in these times are very welcomed, but they will not ask for you to pay.

ORBS
I have taken many pictures that there seems to be orbs in them, but I have learned that the majority of orbs, if not all, seen in pictures are nothing more that dust, pollen, dander, bugs and rain. I have taken pictures while it has been raining and the rain drops appear as orbs, like the picture above. The best thing one can do, is to take your 35mm camera along with your digital camera, and take pictures at the same time, and at the same angle. When you review these pictures how many “orbs” do you see in the pictures that were taken with the 35mm, compared to the ones taken with the digital? I always tell people to shake a rug, create dust to fly. No one's house is free of dust.
I laugh when people see bright “orbs” in their pictures, and are so happy they caught that “orb” that was lit up like a light bulb, well, now if it was lit up so bright, ah, don’t you think you would have seen it? Why was it so bright, well it was because a piece of dust, pollen, bug etc, was close to the flash, nothing more.
Also check out using a lens hood to prevent the occurrence of "orbs" in your pictures. Lens hoods may be purchased or you can make your own. http://www.lenshoods.co.uk/
If an "orb" is suppose to be the energy of ones spirit, would not the orb that is full of energy have a light of its own and not have to be assisted by the flash of a camera? I would think, yes.
Dust, rain, mist, pollen, bugs, animal dander, and the list could continue, is the cause of "orbs" in pictures. Remember the closer these objects are the brighter it will look because of the flash. Pictures of orbs should never be presented as evidence because of these reasons.
This chart looks more like a mood ring chart! Ok, how in the world can someone claim this crap? What, did they catch a "orb", and asked it how it felt!!!!

Residual Haunting - Intelligent Haunting
A residual haunting is a visual, and or auditory event that plays over and over again. It has been said that a residual haunting could possibly have been caused by a traumatic event, or even a life altering event. If you have a residual haunting the ghost/spirit will not be aware of the living.
A intelligent haunting is aware of the living, and will try to communicate in one form or another. They may respond to questions, and also may be able to move objects like a toy or other trigger objects.
Apparitions
A apparition has been defined as the disembodied spirit or soul of a deceased person that becomes visible. These manifestations of spirits/ghosts, are not seen often, or not at all by some.
